LIVING COLORS

We have usually say that we are not racist and we are against racism. but have u ever have a deep thought that no matter how much u fight for and stand for deep inside you the sub-concious area the racism virus is in there. No matter how many different racial friends you have at the end of the day there is surely a thin wall dividing you and the other races. Its the simple fact, its a fact that wont run away. I myself seen and heard from many racial abuse that can really be sickening. I just cant understand why cant we stand together as human beings rather than as white, black, yellow, brown or wut ever color u wanna call your race... It is just the different lifestyles and culture that makes us have that certain idealogy. I am not gonna give any examples as it will end up to be extremely sensitive and just plain pain to the ears and mind. The idea of racism starts off usually at home. Kids are thought by their parents the difference of race, they didnt exactly teach them directly but indirectly, they might not know it but the remarks they make and the attitude they reacted to other race is just a stepping stone to the racism mind. When this remarks reaches some really zealous fanatic child's ear he or she will start spreading the hate among friends. Racism also starts when the respect among races starts to thin. Causing displeasure among races. Why cant we just sit down and respect each other be it race or religion and live together as human beings. What are we doing to the nation and our kids? See now u all are making me repeat myself!

Try watching this movie called Crash starring Sandra Bullock, Brendan Fraser, Matt Dillon and Ludacris. Its about several characters of different racial backgrounds collide in one incident, The different stereotypes society has created for those backgrounds affect their judgment, beliefs and actions, This in turn causes problems for each of them.

Let us all hope that the dark clouds of racial prejudice will soon pass away, and that in some not too distant tomorrow the radiant stars of love and brotherhood will shine over our great nation with all their scintillating beauty.” -Martin Luther King, Jr.-

"
It's just black people demeaning other black people, using that word over and over. You ever hear white people callin' each other "honky" all the time? "Hey, honky, how's work?" "Not bad, cracker, we're diversifying!" " -Crash-

"
Racism is man's gravest threat to man - the maximum of hatred for a minimum of reason."

Multi-Cultural Festive Season??

It is Chinese New Year and everyone is celebrating it. However, there are a few comments that I will DEFINATELY have to voice out.

It's really normal for the chinese to travel back to their hometown for the reunion dinner on the eve of Chinese New Year. So, the traffic on the highways should be pack with chinese. Unfortuntely, while I was travelling on the road then, I notice something. The cars passing my right and left DURING the massive traffic jam was 50% indians and malays. What are they doing on the road!!!!

I know.. I know .... they are either celebrating the festive season as well or going for a holiday since it is a long break. However, did they ever consider that the eve is IMPORTANT to the chinese as they MUST rush back home for the dinner reunion? They will of course say, " If it's that important, you should have taken the annual leave to go back earlier!". If I could I would but I can't! Imagine, I almost didn't make it on time for the dinner. Old people back home can't wait too late due to their body adaptation on having dinner at a certain time.

I am sure the other races are able to wait a little later or perhaps the next day to go for their holiday break since it was 5 whole days public holiday .... must they leave on the eve? You tell me....
